Reach Out West End provides a drug diversion class for adult first-time drug offenders who are referred to us by the Municipal court. The state’s Deferred Entry of Judgment (DEF) program, also known as PC1000, allows certain drug offenders to attend this educational class to satisfy the requirements of their pending court action. After completing the requirements of Reach Out’s program, clients are referred back to the court for final disposition. Clients often return to Reach Out after completion, with stories of how their lives have changed for the better thanks to this intervention.
